Naxxar Lions Football Club

Naxxar Lions Football Club is a football club from the town of Naxxar in the northern part of Malta. Founded in 1920, it was the first football club in the north of Malta. The club had a very positive period in the 1940s and after some years languishing in the lower divisions, the club had several years of glory. Michael Zammit Tabona was appointed president in the 1980s, establishing the club as one of the best on the island, playing for several years in the Maltese Premier Division. After being relegated from the top league at the beginning of the new century, the club had to face a difficult period and was relegated to third division a few years ago. Following the recent successful seasons Naxxar Lions were promoted from 3rd Division to 2nd Division in season 2009–10, from 2nd Division to 1st Division in season 2010–11 and maintaining 1st Division status in season 2011–12 placing in 6th position. In the 2012–13 season Naxxar Lions gained promotion to the Maltese Premier League with Dione Drago as the president. After three consecutive years in the Premier League, they were relegated back to first division. Pierre Sciberras was appointed as a president during the season 2016-17, and after one season, they maintained again the promotion to the Maltese Premier League. Naxxar Lions will be playing Season 2017/2018 in the Maltese Premier League. In September 2017, Mr Yahya Kirdi took over Naxxar Lions Football Club and he was appointed as President.

Dr Carl Peralta graduated as a Lawyer (Advocate) in Malta (EU). In 2005 he founded ‘77 Great Estates’ - a successful estate agency in Malta. After ‘77 Great Estates’ brokered a substantial amount of property deals in Malta and overseas running into millions and tens of millions of Euro, the Group opted to branch out into their favourite sports: Football. Dr Peralta enjoyed playing football at local Club and University level in Malta and overseas. Therefore in 2018, the Group combined their contacts in the local and international football market with their estate agency skills. They set-up ‘77 Attackers', a football agency which concentrates on a few but capable attackers. 77 Attackers provides a professional service to all their clients worldwide and its aim is to maximise the potential of each and every client while matching the ideal attacker according to the requirements of the Football Club.

Hamrun Spartans Fc

La Storia del Club : L'Hamrun Spartans Fc è stata fondata nel 1907. Nelle stagioni 1913-14, l'Hamrun Spartans era già una squadra consolidata nella scena locale vincendo il titolo. Il loro secondo successo della Lega è arrivato quattro anni più tardì. Nel 1946-47 hanno vinto il Trofeo di Johnnie Walker Championship e per quattro volte tra il 1947 e il 1952 hanno vinto la Coppa di Cassar. Nel 75 ° anniversario, nella stagione 1982-83, il club è tornato in cima a vincere il titolo dopo 36 anni di assenza. Il club è riuscito anche a vincere la FA Trophy durante quella stagione. Il club ha stabilito un nuovo record essendo la prima squadra locale a vincere in una competizione UEFA dopo aver battuto Ballymena dell'Irlanda del Nord. In un decennio, l'Hamrun è riuscito a vincere tre titoli di lega, tre FA Trophies, la Coppa Super e l'Euro Cup per due volte. La squadra ha finito al secondo posto dopo un'assenza di quattro anni.
