Our main target group is: active peaple interested in watersports. This is possible only with constant clothing development (cuts, designs, protections) and field testing supported by state of the art materials. Nevertheless we are a very small company, we are able to reach worlds top athletes from different watersport disciplines mainly because of this philosophy and the fact we work in close relationship with people directly involved in this sports (athletes, coaches…) Before reaching the market our newest solutions are tested by world class athletes gathered in a team called SandiEquipe. Until now athletes wearing technical clothing made by us won 15 Olympic and more than 250 world & European championship medals. Our gear development is supported by worlds best canoe slalom competitors, Olympic classes sailors & coaches and other professional watersport technical gear users. Flinger
Long-term experiences in producing rubber products in GITES d.o.o. enabled us to develop a professional product that meets our criteria. WHY FLINGERS? In the old days, Istrian shepherds filled their time with throwing rocks to the chosen target. Later they modelled the rocks and made them flatter and in some places, they used half a brick. Eventually škuljanje, as the game was originally called, transformed into a new form by using modern materials. Our family got introduced to such flingers and we could not imagine any vacation or a picnic without them. Because they were made of plastic, those flingers bounced unpredictably. In our home workshop, we came up with an idea to make our own, improved flingers, which eventually we succeeded in. A plastic toy was turned into a real competitive sports accessory, used by the Slovenia Prstomet Organization. Gites d.o.o. The principal activity of Gites d.o.o.
