Polartec fabrics were originally created for the US Army. After testing in the laboratory and under real conditions, the material goes into mass production. A distinctive feature of Polartec is wear resistance, exceptional real functionality, low weight, the use of modern technologies of the textile industry in the USA, Europe, and Asia. WESTEX is one of the five largest manufacturers of specialized fabrics for protection against high temperatures, stress, and chemical attack. WESTEX materials are used for the needs of military structures, fire departments, in the chemical and mining industries. WESTEX meets international standards for protection in harsh environments. Clothes made from WESTEX materials are a guarantee of protection from external influences. Milliken is a specialist in the creation of materials for the military with a century of history. The creation of new materials is supported by its own laboratory, a pool of specialists who have been in hot spots around the globe, and cooperation with the expeditionary services of America.
