Inss Israel
INSS (The Institute for National Security Studies) is an independent academic institute that studies key issues relating to Israel's national security and Middle East affairs. Through its mixture of researchers with backgrounds in academia, the military, government, and public policy, INSS is able to contribute to the public debate and governmental deliberation of leading strategic issues and offer policy analysis and recommendations to decision makers and public leaders, policy analysts, and theoreticians, both in Israel and abroad. As part of its mission, it is committed to encourage new ways of thinking and expand the traditional contours of establishment analysis. Conceiving of security studies as a dynamic interdisciplinary field that involves military, intellectual, economic, and social resources, the Institute strives to reflect that diversity and complexity through research and policy recommendations of the highest standard. Complementing the traditional areas of defense, security doctrine, and politics, INSS has expanded its focus to include the “softer” components of national security, such as domestic trends and social processes. The Institute is non-partisan, independent, and autonomous in its fields of research and expressed opinions. As an external institute of Tel Aviv University, it maintains a strong association with the academic environment. In addition, it has a strong association with the political and military establishment.

Jiss - Jerusalem Institute For Strategy And Security
The Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security (JISS) seeks to strengthen Israel by advancing a defense and diplomatic discourse that is realist. Through policy-oriented research, educational conference activity, and outreach to government, military, academia, media and the public, the institute gives expression to a conservative strategic worldview. Among the principles underlying the institute’s activity are the Jewish People’s historic connection to the land of Israel as a central component of strategic worldview; the salience of security in diplomatic agreements; rejection of unilateral Israeli moves that strengthen adversaries; the importance of strategic cooperation with like-minded allies; the imperative of Israel being able to defend itself by itself in all eventualities; and, critically, the importance of united Jerusalem to Israel’s security and destiny. A central focus for the institute is training a next generation of national security specialists – a younger cohort from the Israeli academic, intelligence, military and foreign policy communities – in the best intellectual traditions of Western strategic thinking and of Zionism.

The Haredi Institute For Public Affairs
The Haredi Institute for Public Affairs was established in 2014, with the goal of advancing research-based policy on civic issues concerning the haredi community and its interaction with Israeli society. Forecasts of the Central Bureau of Statistics present dramatic findings concerning the continued growth of the haredi population in Israel, indicating a significant shift in the haredi community’s impact within Israeli society. These changes will have far-reaching implications for a variety of aspects of civilian life, including the economy, employment, housing and welfare. Examining these issues and formulating policy that addresses them is critical – not only for the haredi community but for Israeli society as a whole. Policy based on solutions adapted to the unique characteristics of the haredi community, viewed within the broader context of the needs of society as a whole, is vitally important and will benefit all of society. The Haredi Institute for Public Affairs was established to contend with these challenges; to address the need for presenting and analyzing the necessary data, in order to develop tools and strategies for the benefit of the haredi community and society as a whole. The Institute aims to serve as the knowledge base for decision makers, professionals and philanthropic entities that come in contact with these issues, and to work with them as a leading professional entity in this regard. The Natural Step Israel
The Natural Step Israel (TNS Israel) is a non-profit organization established in 2012 to foster a sustainable society in Israel by building a resilient food system. Our approach is centered on three main areas of action: 1. Identifying Gaps and Market Failures: TNS Israel's research department conducts studies to inform policy, public opinion, and food system resilience and sustainability practices. We tackle market failures, like dynamic pricing for short-shelf-life products, and promote innovation in the food-tech and agri-tech sectors. Leadership Development: Recognizing the need for strong leadership in both routine and crises, TNS Israel developed the "Shikma - Sustainability for Decision Makers" program. This initiative equips leaders across all sectors of Israeli society with the knowledge and tools to prioritize sustainability in their decision-making processes. From Field to Plate: TNS Israel takes a holistic view of the food system, engaging all stakeholders in the journey from food production to consumption. We organize 'Masa' events to merge sustainability with culinary arts and culture. During the Iron Swords War, we launched the 'Israeli for Blue and White Agriculture' initiative to support local agriculture, reduce food waste, and encourage local consumption. This initiative operates at national, regional, and surplus produce levels, emphasizing direct sales and digitization. Additionally, Our National Food Waste Reduction Week, initiated in 2019, aims to raise public awareness and promote sustainable habits. TNS Israel also collaborates with government agencies, businesses, and organizations to develop practical solutions for the entire food value chain, particularly focusing on upstream solutions to benefit both farmers and consumers.

The majority of Western Olim return to their county of origin defeated by the economic and practical challenges of moving to a new country with a foreign culture. Yet, the statistical data is in their favor. They need a longer financial runway to succeed and trusted relationships that a network can provide.
