Irelanding Your Futures 2021
Motivations - This project is a volunteer-based programme and a collective effort of the Irish Aid fellows 2019-2020. The purpose of the project has two folds. Firstly, it is an opportunity for us to turn our commitment into action: sharing the knowledge, experience and insights with the local community in Vietnam. Secondly, it aims to catalyse and intensify the connection within the IDEAS scholar cohort and with others- Visions - Our vision is to establish a knowledge-sharing hub/network dedicated to supporting the young individuals who aspire for further professional and personal development in Ireland and/or Vietnam so that they can make their dreams become realities. The core principles that spell out our beliefs and intentions for the work we do in this initial project and many more in the future are “giving is receiving”, “community”, and “diversity”- Objectives - To that end, the project is trying to deliver the following objectives: Promoting Ireland’s higher education via online workshops by linking master’s programmes with the expectations of the industries to fresh undergraduates and young professionals as the targeted audience. Expanding participants’ networks to educational, industrial and media partners. Promoting Ireland’s friendliness, safety and festivities as the factors making a great balance for international students and helps them achieve good academic progression.
