Kálmán Mészáros started his concrete based tile manufacturing business in Negyed, which is now a Slovakian town. The hand crafted, so-called „Meszaros-tiles” can be found on the surrounding roofs for nearly 90 years. In 1993 Vilmos Mészáros took over the family business and started using a half-automatic machine. Today the manufacturing technology is fully automatic, compliant with the European standards. In 1997, the third generation of the family entered into the family’s business and the rapid technological development started at the same time. In Terran Slovakia Ltd. was established in Farkasd in Slovakia, where we installed an automatic production line system.
