Jackson Metal Recycling & Engineering, based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, has been a trusted name in the West of Ireland for almost 30 years. Initially focused on general engineering services, we expanded our operations in 2011 to include Waste Metal Recycling, which is now a core part of our business, allowing us to offer sustainable solutions for scrap metal and end-of-life vehicles. Our recycling facility handles a wide range of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals. Keeping with our engineering roots, for the last 15 years we have manufactured Sewage Vent Stacks that meet the highest industry standards, with CE approval. These durable, galvanized steel structures are designed to eliminate sewage odour with ease of installation and maintenance. In addition our Retail Store has a one-stop shop for engineering and welding supplies, stocking high-quality tools and materials for both commercial and domestic use for over 20 years. Each customer in our store receives personalized and friendly service, ensuring each customer finds exactly what they need with the support of our knowledgeable team. With us, you get a bit of everything—recycling, engineering, and expert advice—all under one roof!

Limerick Polymers Production

Limerick Polymers Production (LPP) began operations in January 2021 and is part of one of Ireland’s largest family owned recycling groups. The group has been collecting and recycling waste for over 36 years and now has a number of collection operations and 7 recycling facilities throughout the country. LPP is based in the Southhill area of Limerick which is one of the key areas of the Limerick Regeneration Framework (the largest regeneration program in the state). The building that LPP is based in had been derelict for over 10 years and was in a state of disrepair. LPP has worked closely with Limerick City & County Council to improve the ascetics of the estate and help develop the long term future of the estate. Additionally LPP now employs 31 people at its facility, the majority of which are from the local community.
