Rocca Di Castagnoli
The village of Castagnoli rises from the heart of the Chianti Classico, on a hill that was already well-known to the Etruscans: surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive groves, it dominates the valley from its lofty situation, taking the mind back to ancient times. The farm extends over around 850 hectares, ranging in altitude from 380 metres to 860 metres. 72 hectares are given over to vineyards, with a prevalence of Sangiovese, the grape that forms the basis of the exellent Tuscan wines produced here. In 1981 considerable restoration work was carried out to the house and castle, and innovative production criteria were applied to the vines and the cellar. A highly modern vinification cellar was created, while the cellars belonging to the medieval castle were given over to the aging in barrels made from the best French oak. This is where we aim to achieve wines of great personality, elegance, complexity and balance, to be enjoyed over time. The geological characteristics of Castagnoli, with its deep soil rich in limestone and rock fragments, combined with a climate distinguished by a wide range of temperatures and a careful clonal selection of the grapes, hep us produce pleasing, elegant and complex wines with a structure and acidity that make them suitable for long agings. Some of these wines, like the Chianti Classico Rocca di Castagnoli, the Riserva Poggio a' Frati and our IGT Tocana or Supertuscans are very much sought after, both in the Chianti area itself as in the rest of Italy and abroad.

Tenuta Casenuove

Tenute Rubino
Tenute Rubino’s roots date back to the 1980s when Tommaso Rubino, an avid supporter of Apulia’s viticultural and oenological potential, created a foundation for production divided between five estates. The goal was to express the best of local viticulture through hand-crafted wines showcasing Puglia’s native varieties, including Primitivo, Negroamaro, and the revival of Susumaniello, which was on the verge of extinction. In Tommaso teamed up with his son Luigi and daughter-in-law Romina to create the brand Tenute Rubino, based in Puglia’s Brindisi region. Today, the Tenute Rubino winery produces an array of authentic, terroir-driven wines which have revitalized the reputation of Apulian wines across the globe. In March 2022 the company has obtained the Equalitas, Sustainable Organization Module, Certification, the standard that promotes the sustainability culture in the agricultural and viticultural industry on an international basis.

Bordiga 1888

Cantina Della Volta
The activity of Cantina della Volta started in 2010 on the initiative of a group of friends, all wine lovers, who asked Christian Bellei to share a new project in the wine sector: give continuity to the production of wines of the Modena area using the Classic Method, widely used in France, better known as the Champenoise Method, namely that of natural fermentation in the bottle. Christian Bellei represents the fourth generation of wine entrepreneurs in Bomporto (Modena) Italy. The business was started by his great grandfather in 1920 and later inherited by his father Giuseppe, who led the family winery until the end of the nineties. Giuseppe Bellei, better known in Modena as "Beppe", passed down to Christian the values and passion of winemaking, working hard with his son and involving him in various stages of the wine preparation. Father and son shared various visits in Epernay, France, home to noble sparkling wines, attracted by the charm of the Champagne. The purpose of his trips was to study in depth the processing of the wines by the Method Champenoise and then apply it on the grapes pressed in their cellar of Bomporto. This passion for the Classic Method is the living legacy that led to the birth of the Christian Bellei’s Cantina della Volta. The members of Cantina della Volta asked Christian to respect a single binding condition: continue making quality wines "in his own way". In other words, wisely profit from the strong wine-making skills and continue improving oenological knowledge of wine acquired from his father and the practice.

Caruso E Minini
Four generations who have consistently engaged with the care of the land. Vineyards on the hills of Trapani where the Mediterranean wind blows. Reinventing the canon of Sicilian wines with freshness and Our winery is in Marsala, on the western tip of Sicily, in a traditional stone farmhouse dating from 1904, which has now been renovated with artisanal and technological tools and know-how. Our wines today come from the work of four generations of winemakers and express the specific character of our hilly vineyards, where low yields allow for more intense flavors. These wines are the expression of a Mediterranean landscape made of wind, salt, and of all the different cultures that have met in Sicily in the past and will always meet. UP IN THE HILLS The vineyards are on the hills of Marsala, between 200 and 450 meters above sea level, where the low yields (about 80 quintals per hectare) concentrate the flavors. Here, the gaze can follow the horizon down to the coast. The wind coming from the sea “touches” the plants, and we recognize it in the slightly salty notes of the wines. TECHNOLOGICAL CRAFT The work in the cellar is minimalist. We want our wines to be the genuine expression of our hills, maintaining the balance of the grapes and their connection with the landscape where we have our roots. BEHIND THE LABELS The labels are designed by Laboratorio Zanzara, a social cooperative in Turin that promotes integration and creativity for people with mental disabilities, under the artistic curation of Gianluca Cannizzo. The illustrations are the result of a research process on the local fauna and flora, the Marsala landscapes, and the Sicilian imagery. They develop from elements collected on-site, including photos and botanical illustrations. The simple, playful, and materic style refers to Matisse but also reflects the expressiveness of the people for whom Zanzara is a creative home.

Tenuta Di Angoris
