La storia di Compagnia dei Caraibi è una storia fatta di tempo, di esperienza, di avventura, di passione e di curiosità. È una storia che affonda le sue radici in un piccolo paese del Piemonte, viaggia in lungo e in largo alla ricerca della qualità, abbraccia i paesi esotici, si apre a tutto il mondo e poi ritorna a casa, pronta a raccontare - e a offrire - tutto ciò che di migliore ha incontrato. Compagnia dei Caraibi è un'azienda nata a Vidracco (To) nel 1995, attiva nell'importazione e distribuzione di spirits e soft drinks provenienti da ogni parte del mondo tra cui Rum, Gin, Vodka, Whisky, Tequila, sodati, acque e champagne. Il portafoglio si compone principalmente di prodotti 'Premium e 'Super Premium'. Oggi Compagnia dei Caraibi seleziona e importa centinaia di referenze da 51 Paesi - tra cui alcuni dei brand più di tendenza presenti sul mercato: Rum Planteray, Citadelle Gin, El Dorado, Champagne Frerejean Freres, etc - e produce direttamente una decina di marchi. Ma sono numeri in continua crescita. Lo spunto per la nascita della Compagnia dei Caraibi arriva in modo casuale. Parte da un’azienda di famiglia che produceva alimentari e da un viaggio premio dedicato agli agenti. Nel corso di un viaggio a Cuba, Tigre Ciliegio, fondatore dell'azienda, conobbe il manager responsabile dell’import export di un’azienda di birra locale. Scoprì nel conversare che producevano anche rum e così la “storia” ha avuto inizio. Ultimo capitolo di questa storia in ordine di tempo è la nascita del progetto Elemento Indigeno. Un'idea incentrata sul vino in cui si fondono ancora una volta la ricerca, l’amore per il viaggio, per le differenti culture e per la qualità, la passione e la storia.

Banfi, a family-owned wine producer, based in Tuscany, is celebrated worldwide as “Builders of Brunello.” The Mariani family, firmly established as leading importers of fine wine in the US, founded their Banfi vineyard estate in Montalcino in 1978. They assembled a contiguous estate of 2,830 hectares, one-third of the property is under specialized vine, and the balance is shared between olive groves, wheat fields, plum trees, truffle stands, forest, and scrub. The medieval Poggio alle Mura Castle crowning the estate, part of Banfi estate since 1983, is lovingly restored as a pioneering beacon for regional hospitality. Just over a year after the founding of Banfi in Montalcino, the Mariani acquired the historic Piedmontese winery Bruzzone, today known as Banfi Piemonte. La Cantina di Solopaca, è una tra le più antiche della Campania. Con oltre 150 mila ettolitri di vino prodotti è ai primi posti nella produzione regionale. Le aziende agricole sono ubicate non solo nel comune di Solopaca ma anche in 16 comuni limitrofi, per un totale di circa 1300 ettari di superficie vitata. La storia del Solopaca non può essere disgiunta dalla storia della cittadina Solopaca, che si stende alle falde del Monte Taburno, in provincia di Benevento, che con le sue stupende colline da sempre è vocata all'agricoltura. Nasce qui il favoloso "Solopaca Doc" la cui storia si perde nella notte dei tempi.persino Gioacchino Murat, generale francese e Re di Napoli, che ad assaggiare il vino di Solopaca, si esaltò al punto di paragonare la stravolgente potenza del vino a quella del cognato Napoleone. Dai vigneti delle ridenti colline solopachesi (vigne vecchie, ceraselle, cesine, santianni, tore, ecc.) le uve coltivate vengono convogliate alla cantina della cooperativa ove, previa meticolosa scelta sono vinificate con procedimenti tradizionali antichissimi, perfezionati dalle moderne tecniche enologiche. Dalla produzione della Cantina oggi nascono non solo il maschio e seduttore Rosso D.O.C, ma anche il corposo e vellutato Aglianico, il frizzante e delicato Amabile, la misteriosa e allegra Falanghina, fino alla nobiltà dell'aristocratico Spumante "Solopaca D.O.C."

La Tordera
LA TORDERA is a family winery from the hills of Valdobbiadene. The hills of Valdobbiadene are the original home of Prosecco and unquestionably the home to the best Prosecco. Since July 2019 the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene are officially the 55th Italian UNESCO "World Heritage Site”. The Vettoretti family have been grape farmers for four generations; until 2001 the family sells their grapes to others and then they bravely decided to build their own brand: LA TORDERA. This name sake is of an ungrafted rootstock vineyard planted in 1918 that we still farm today and is located on the CARTIZZE hills, few km far from the winery. Today we call our wines by the names of the vineyards we farm. We call our style “Natural Balance”. Rare in the world of Prosecco, we are 100% hand harvested and 100% estate grown and bottled. This allows us to make a wine with a lower content of sulfites. We believe fewer sulfites and less sugar, allows us to make an easy-to-drink, balanced, clean and healthy wine. La Tordera believes in preserving the values of hillside agriculture; on promoting family businesses and local economies; on the authentic expression of the aromas and flavors of our land. We believe it is this land, the way we farm this land and maintaining the traditions of this land that make the difference. We are one of the few winery in Italy that has obtained in 2018 the Casa Clima Wine certification: this certificate evaluates the environmental compatibility of the building and its “comfortable living”, of the energy and water consumption in the production of the wines, of the choice of packaging (our bottle is only 700gr) as well as the consequences of transportation. The winery covers 70% of its energy demand by using renewable sources. Moreover, we have joined the innovative Rafcycle programme, a recycling system for label scraps.

Moncaro is a cooperative made of more than associates. History 1964 A group of grapegrowers founds the Società Cooperativa in order to raise vineyard quality throughout the area; 1970 Beginning of construction of the Cantina di Montecarotto; 1971 Moncaro's cellar receives its first harvest; 1980 Moncaro begins to experiment with organic practices and sustained viticulture methods, following European Union regulations; 1987 The winery adopts the name MONCARO (a contraction of Montecarotto). Terre Cortesi refers to its production in the various "terre", or local areas, each with its own historical "corte", or local political jurisdiction; Acquisition of the Cantina di Acquaviva Picena; Moncaro is awarded Three Glasses by Gambero Rosso - Slow Food for the first time; 2003 "Tordiruta" Verdicchio Passito is awarded its first Trophy at the International Wine Challenge in London, widely considered the world championship of wine; 2006 Inauguration of the new aging winery in Contrada Busche, Montecarotto; 2007 Inauguration of the new wineshop "La Casetta", Montecarotto.

Poggio Antico - Montalcino
Poggio Antico is a winery tucked away in one of Montalcino’s most elevated estates. Working with painstaking attention to detail and very low yields, we produce great wines that are truly unique in their elegance and complexity. We take immense pleasure in sharing the work, love and energy that we pour into each and every one of our bottles. Visitors are always warmly welcomed to tour our vineyards and taste a selection of our wines. At an average elevation of 480 metres above sea level, Poggio Antico’s vineyards are among the highest in the Brunello region. The lofty altitude, combined with the close proximity of the Tyrrhenian Sea, ensures that there is always a steady breeze – which has a beneficial effect etheir in dry or rainy seasons. Thanks to this unique and blessed spot, Poggio Antico wines are characterised by their elegance. The total property comprises 200 hectares, with 33 hectares under vine. Most of these plantings are Sangiovese, the hallmark grape for the Brunello appellation. The vineyards are situated so as to enjoy South/Southwest exposure. All the Poggio Antico vineyards are contained within a single estate, and all of the wine is produced from our own grapes. The cellar is located at the heart of the property, allowing us to process the grapes quickly and truly produce the best wine that our fantastic site affords. Low yields, together with hand pruning, harvest and selection, help to guarantee high quality production. A recent conversion to a parcel management system will allow each micro-terroir to truly express its best. As of 2017, the winery has been managed using organic practices. We are proud to say that we are currently working towards our organic certification.
