About Aaron Capron

As a first-generation Computer Science undergraduate at UTEP, I am passionate about solving complex problems through technology. My expertise spans machine learning engineering, algorithm optimization, and backend development, where I focus on efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. As an AI Quality Analyst at Outlier AI, I evaluated chatbot interactions to ensure accurate data retrieval. I also developed a Twilio-powered integration to improve cross-platform communication across Discord, Slack, SMS, and WhatsApp. At Unify AI, I refined adaptive learning techniques to enhance the accuracy of convolutional neural networks in low-data environments. Outside my professional career, I co-developed D2ArmorPicker, an armor optimization tool serving over 1M+ monthly users. I built a master algorithm leveraging Knapsack, Integer Linear Programming, and Greedy optimization techniques, improving real-time recommendations. Additionally, I integrated the Bungie.net API to enhance data retrieval and UX. Driven by problem-solving through technology, my next goal is to complete undergraduate research at UTEP this summer, focusing on neural network optimization, expanding on my work at Unify AI.
