About Aaron Fellner

In my 13 years with the California State Auditor's Office, I have contributed to 15 audits of entities throughout California, ranging from local school districts to large statewide agencies. I typically supervise three to four auditors in performing audit field work to ensure the audit report is accurate and complies with all applicable auditing standards. I supervise, plan, direct, andconduct complex audits, including the scoping and planning of audits and audit activities in a collaborative work environment. During an audit, I ensure the thorough and accurate documentation of audit activities and findings both during field work and in the development of audit reports. Finally, I write and edit large sections of the report in addition to ensuring that the evidence used to support our conclusions is accurate.
