I desire to glorify and enjoy God in my pursuit to fulfill His call on my life as one of His under-shepherds (1 Timothy 3:1-6). I desire to proclaim the glorious Gospel of Christ, warning and teaching everyone, to God’s appointed end of presenting everyone complete in Christ (Colossians 1:28). I desire to be faithful to the God-ordained method of expository preaching (Nehemiah 8:8; 1 Timothy 4:13; 2 Timothy 4:1-5). Though this preaching is foolish to the natural man (Corinthians 1:18-2:16), it is the effectual and empowered means to renewing man (Psalm 19:7-9; Psalm 119:1-176; Hebrews 4:12-13). I desire an associate/assistant position on a church staff committed to these same priorities where I might come alongside the other pastors in support and partnership in Gospel ministry, while also coming alongside parents in their duties to raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Ephesians 6:4).
