Currently serving as a Registration Assistant at UNHCR Egypt, I actively contribute to the implementation of registration strategies for populations of concern. My commitment extends beyond the registration process—I provide counseling to asylum seekers, ensure timely referrals for those with specific needs, and collaborate seamlessly with protection staff to deliver comprehensive assistance. In my previous role as an Internal Auditor and Project Coordinator at Caritas Egypt Damietta office, I spearheaded a groundbreaking economic empowerment initiative funded by the Italian donor (ARCS). This project aimed to uplift Syrian refugees and Egyptian women by providing grants and loans. My responsibilities encompassed not only financial reporting and audit management but also involved translating documents, participating in crucial decision-making committees, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. With a background that includes internal auditing at Essam Sheta factory for furniture, I've honed my skills in translating financial documents, preparing budget plans, and developing auditing programs. My journey reflects a commitment to excellence, advanced computer skills in MS Office and accounting software, and a deep understanding of auditing standards and procedures. A continuous learner, I've complemented my practical experience with coursework in General English, Project Management, and Microfinance. My proficiency in English and Arabic, coupled with advanced UNHCR tools programs, positions me as a versatile professional in both local and international settings.
