About Abbey Kutchen

Ever since I was little I dreamed of becoming a successful health professional, I always had a heart for people and health science. From playing "hospital" as a five year old girl with my sister, to filling up icepacks for my mom's weekly migraines, to finding the best conditioning exercise plans for my high school volleyball teammates and I, to helping older adults stay active as an activities assistant, to researching my new meal plan as a younger woman with high blood pressure. I truly enjoy researching current health topics, helping others reach their wellness goals, and providing healing through meal plans. My work and life experience has given me an even greater passion to make a difference in others' lives. I am naturally gifted in providing care to those in need and encouraging others to grow in who they were made to be. With this, I believe I can be very beneficial in the healthcare world. This passion carried me to pursue a Masters of Science in Food and Nutrition degree at The University of Alabama. I am eager to learn more about all aspects of this major and to do my very best to become the greatest registered dietitian nutritionist I can be.
