About Abdan Alabdan

Strategic and cross-functional professional with around 10 years of experience across semi-government entities, international organizations, transnational nonprofits, and executive leadership offices. I bring a unique blend of institutional insight, diplomatic tact, and operational execution, honed through roles spanning public policy, stakeholder engagement, project management, and administrative strategy. Currently, I lead the Government Engagement section at NEOM, managing a team of professionals and spearheading strategic partnerships that support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. My mandate includes aligning NEOM’s priorities with national policy agendas, facilitating seamless collaboration with government and semi-government bodies, and representing NEOM in intergovernmental forums and steering committees. I also oversee the development and implementation of high-level strategic plans and official correspondence protocols. Previously, I served as the CEO Office Manager at the National Infrastructure Fund (under establishment) within the National Development Fund (NDF). There, I built the CEO’s office from the ground up—defining its structure, policies, and operating procedures—while managing sensitive stakeholder communication and executive initiatives. Earlier in my career at KSrelief, I coordinated international missions, led internal policy development, and represented the Supervisor General’s Office in multilateral humanitarian engagements. With a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from York University and a Master's in Public Policy from King Abdulaziz University, I couple analytical rigor with hands-on leadership. I’m a native Arabic speaker, fluent in English, and hold multiple certifications in diplomatic communication, public speaking, and international humanitarian law. Known for my professional negotiation, institutional reform insight, and ability to operate at the intersection of policy and operations, I aim to be at a role where I can drive impact, elevate governance standards, and serve the national agenda.
