About Abdullah Mapandi
I graduated with a degree in Multimedia Arts from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. I developed my love of photography in my teens while living in Saudi Arabia. After graduating from college, I started working as a freelance photographer where I cover various events like weddings, corporate, birthdays, etc. From 2017 until 2022, I was the head of the creative department and project manager at Galerie Joaquin. I document all the artworks that artists submit under the gallery. It is also my responsibility to create and manage all the collaterals needed for each exhibit. Another aspect of my job is communicating with artists and assisting them with everything they need before the exhibit opening and during the event itself. Currently, I work as an exhibitions associate (project base) at the Cultural Center of the Philippines and a part-time faculty (photography program) at De La-Salle college of St. Benilde.
