About Abhijit de

I bring with me a long and exciting 14+ years of VFX and CGI experience and an extensive knowledge in Maya Modeling, sculpting in Zbrush, Mari and many more 2D, 3D applications. From childhood, I was very passionate about drawing, painting, which drives my careers into this creative field. With a B.F.A (Bachelor of Fine Arts) degree, have a good understanding of anatomy, proportion, color and composition scene, which helps me to visualizing what I want to make and how to do it in 3D. Though another childhood dream was to join army, probably in my next life Worked in several animation studios. In Prana Animation Studios, got a chance to work first time in a international project with Disney to create the Tinkerbell and Planes franchise among others, later on worked in TRON: Legacy, was my first vfx project. After that finally moved to MPC.This is where I learned more extensively about the VFX pipeline, and worked on some real amazing projects. I was fortunate enough to be a part of Oscar winning show The Jungle Book asset team. The journey is still going on.… My skills include the following Characters/Creature/Props/environment modeling, UV mapping, texturing and lookdev. Sculpting in Z-brush and mudbox texturing in Mari and Substance painter Knowledge in Katana, Arnold and Renderman Camera matching tool in 3D Equalizer production managing and scheduling software in Shotgun Supervising assets from concept to shot delivery.
