About Abraham Avalos
Working towards my Ph.D. degree at the University of Toledo, Ohio-USA, I was very involved with materials characterization and analytical methods, I was even awarded with a doctoral instrumentation assistantship at the Center for Materials and Sensor Characterization. Later, I got a position as a Materials Research Scientist at the Polymers Institute of Toledo University where I further polished my skills and mastered many analytical methods, characterization techniques and processes for polymers synthesis. Since June 2017, I work at AON3D as a scientist. This 3D printer manufacturer at Montreal allowed me to explore new venues in polymers science for the advancement of additive manufacturing technology applied to high performance polymers with aerospace applications. At this position, I implement new characterization techniques to fine tune the best processing conditions for successful 3D printed parts.
