The depth of my experience (20 Years) the ICT Industry offers you the opportunity to hire a very hard and dedicated worker who needs little or no training and who is comfortable and successful with cold canvassing. I might not have all the relevant qualifications but I do have quite extensive experience and I am working towards getting all the needed qualifications, I am a fast learner and love taking up new challenges every day, thus no challenge is too small or big and I strive for perfection in everything I do. Moreover, having worked in ICT Industry I have 20 years’ experience within the IT industry, of which 4 years was spent as a Senior Technical and Call Escalation Engineer. Onsite support for over 20 Corporate and Retail companies across South Africa, handling of front office and back office servers as well as the frontline Point Of Sale Systems for all the clients. Also working for 3 London Boroughs dealing with Councillors and very demanding users, the sites I worked on had users between and over 5 to 7 different sites. Working as a Network Support engineer for the Microsoft Data Centre, managing and maintaining servers for MSN and Hotmail. I am a hard worker, fast learner and no challenge is too big for me, I strive to perfection in all my work. I have done 2+ years of Helpdesk support and have managed a team of engineers for over 3 years, tending to clients queries and seeing to it that all goes well with the work that the engineers get handed. I have been doing hardware maintenance on all types of printers from laser to inkjet, up to plotters and MFS, Supporting software like Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012, Linux Suse, Unix, SQL Server and workstation, Exchange Windows 7, building, upgrading and repairing of PC’s and monitors also managing and setting up of VOIP and PABX systems. It is only due to the long-term economic volatility and my Visa status in the UK (resulting in downsizing, layoffs, mergers, and business failures) that I have held positions at more than one company. However, it is this fact that allows me to offer you such an unusual breadth of experience.
