People-leader and team-player with 10+ years of experience in the FinTech industry and business lending space. Proven track record in underwriting, management, increasing operational efficiency, and reducing cost. Affinity for identifying problems, solving, and socializing solutions. Passionate about leading and bringing people together through mutual understanding and bridging perspectives. Throughout my tenure with Arcarius, LLC, I developed and standardized finance product parameters and guidelines plus deployed those processes for the pre-underwriting, business analysis, and underwriting departments. These changes resulted in decreased default rates, and increased productivity, and performance by all teams affected. While with Spark Funding, LLC, I managed four in-office pre-underwriters and an offshore team consisting of 20+ members. I played a significant role in the hiring process, conducting interviews regularly. I was able to utilize my industry expertise to optimize back-end processes and educate the offshore team on those updated company guidelines and the industry by holding regular team meetings. The continued education and standardization of processes resulted in a capability increase from 90 to 125+ files analyzed daily. Perpetually learning, in part due to my incurable curiosity and love for reading. Belief in fostering collaboration, especially through meritocratic means, and ensuring people truly understand one another.
