Background

About Adam Gibbs

I am an mechanical engineer with 25 years experience at cross manufacturing company. Having completed my apprenticeship I spent over ten years within a tool room environment developing my skills as a machinist. This led on to a keen interest in welding and fabrication and machine construction which I really enjoyed. I helped build and customise a preventative maintenance plant registry system at the company and continue to improve and develop it on a daily basis. My system controls PPM, calibration, risk based maintenance, general building and site maintenance etc to ensure our compliance with the companies various quality standards. I have a hands on approach which involves personnel management, health and safety compliance, contractor control, environmental awareness, CE UKCA standard machinery design and compliance. I love my job and like to think I am good at it.
