About Adam Harris

I’m a product and technology executive with a track record of building, fixing, and scaling platforms that solve complex problems with clarity and speed. I’ve led zero-to-one launches, rescued stalled products, and built high-performing orgs across startups, public companies, and global research providers.Currently, I lead all technical product management at IDC, overseeing a portfolio that includes our AI-powered IT decision platform (TechMatch), Sales Velocity, IDC.com, Knowledge Platform, and our internal data infrastructure. I was initially brought in to launch TechMatch from scratch — a product that went live in under six months and landed flagship enterprise clients — and was later tapped to unify platform strategy across the entire digital ecosystem.Earlier in my career, I served as Chief Product Officer at a high-growth SaaS startup, and prior to that, I held product leadership roles at Amazon, where I built with mechanisms, customer obsession, and a relentless focus on outcomes.I specialize in:Launching new products in ambiguous environmentsScaling platform architectures across data and AITurning around underperforming teams and vendor-dependent orgsAligning product, engineering, and GTM around customer behaviorI’m now focused on building AI-first platforms that deliver real decisions — not just data — and on shaping product orgs built for velocity, ownership, and long-term leverage.
