Background
About Adrian Lucas
With a career in choral music and great breadth of experience, Adrian spans an unusual range of practical and technical skills across the musical spectrum. Springing from a singing background during school days, including major London concerts, recordings and broadcasting, and passing through the organ scholarship at St John's College, Cambridge, Adrian's career has embraced work at Portsmouth, Norwich, Salisbury and Worcester Cathedrals. Since 2002 he has been musical director of the City of Birmingham Choir and, more recently, the RSCM's Millennium Youth Choir. Alongside this, he now runs Acclaim Productions Ltd - a small but highly effective recording company specialising in bespoke audio recordings across the classical spectrum and beyond.
