About Ahmed Campbell

With over 30 years of experience in the credit union and financial services industry, I am a seasoned executive with a passion for driving the growth and innovation of community development financial institution and community development credit union lending business lines. As the Director of Lending Development at Inclusiv, I leverage my expertise in CDFI capital investing, lending product development, secondary capital and mortgage secondary marketing, and C&I lending to create and implement impactful solutions for low-income communities. In my current role, I am the primary point-person promoting the C&I lending programs to CDFI members and other credit union partners, as well as assessing lending-related business opportunities and supporting the design and implementation of new product offerings. I also coordinate and lead training and technical support that enables the capacity building and operational excellence of our member credit unions. Previously, I worked as the Vice President of Credit Operations at Municipal Credit Union, where I played an integral role in rebuilding the management team, changing the corporate culture, and correcting significant operating and accounting deficiencies. I also developed and implemented consumer lending strategies, policies, and procedures, focusing on the digital application channel and self-service functionality throughout loan origination. Additionally, I have extensive experience in loan servicing, loss mitigation, collections, business process change, financial analysis, strategic planning, risk management, business development, and project management. I am a results-oriented and solutions-driven leader, with effective planning, organization, and communication skills. I possess an innate ability to deliver mission-critical results that align with key business strategies and goals. I am also a collaborative and supportive team player, who values ethics, accountability, and teamwork. I am always eager to learn new skills, technologies, and best practices that enhance my professional development and performance.
