Aken Panor, a Bengaluru-based Sustainable Designer, brings over seven years of expertise to the apparel and fashion industry. Currently serving as Deputy Manager (Design) at Reliance Retail for the SWADESH brand, Aken is dedicated to infusing creativity and sustainable practices into every design. Specializing in creativity, innovation, trend analysis, attention to detail, communication, and a profound understanding of Indian crafts and textiles, Aken's influence extends beyond corporate roles. As a Sustainable Designer, Aken seamlessly manages adaptability and project execution, emphasizing sustainability not only professionally but academically. A proud graduate of the National Institute of Design, a Master's degree in Textile Design, Aken's skill set spans Photography, CAD, color theory, garment construction, and Fashion Illustration. Serving as an Empanelled Designer for the Ministry of Textiles Office of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) in the North Eastern Region, Aken contributed to the cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh. As an Assessor at the Odisha Institute for Social Development, Aken evaluated initiatives fostering social progress through design. Internships at Fabindia Overseas Pvt Ltd, Linenscapes India Ltd, and Caress Camlet Pvt. Ltd refined Aken's skills in CAD design, sampling coordination, and textile artistry.
