About Alaaddin Alpay

With over 20 years of experience in the TMT industry, I am a seasoned professional in strategy and business development, with a passion for creating and launching new products and services that leverage digital technologies and market trends. As the Assistant Director of Strategy and Business Development at Turkcell, Turkey's leading technology company, I lead a team of experts in identifying, evaluating, and executing new growth opportunities across core and noncore business areas. My core competencies include project management, business plan and feasibility studies, partner scouting and investment, corporate entrepreneurship and innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. I have successfully managed and contributed to multiple high-impact strategic projects, such as the corporate venture capital arm (Turkcell Ventures), the corporate entrepreneurship program, and the open innovation and ecosystem initiatives. I have also established and maintained strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as ISVs, NGOs, universities, incubators/accelerators, and local and global investors.
