I joined Micro Nav in a QA role and eventually also became responsible for the Test function within the company, initially becoming Test & Quality Manager and then was appointed to the Board as Test & Quality Director. I was subsequently appointed Technical Director and assumed control of all System Engineering, Software Development and Validation activities at Micro Nav. I held the post for 4 years prior to becoming Products Director. Following many enjoyable years at Micro Nav, I joined Trakm8 - a successful AIM-listed telematics company based in the UK Specialities: Quality; establishing / maintaining complete Integrated Management Systems; internal / supplier auditing; in-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 & TickIT; knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 18001; knowledge of ISO 27001 GDPR and Data Protection ISEB Software Tester; ‘black box’ functional testing; GUI testing; automated testing; integration testing; system testing and UAT ISEB Requirements Engineer; elicitation, specification and validation IPM Product Manager; managing multiple product lines, particularly relating to Software Products ATC/ATM systems, standards and practices (AFTN, OLDI, AIDC, CPDLC, Asterix, ADS-B,ADS-A (C), FDP, RDP, ATIS, EFPS, ACAS etc.)
