About Alan Kavanagh

I am a Civil Engineer with 25 years of experience in the road construction and maintenance industry - and in the management of various departments, teams, projects and change management initiatives. Over that time, I have led research projects on various types of pavement materials and have promoted the development of many environmentally sustainable pavement solutions including, warm-mix asphalt, cold-mix asphalt, in-situ recycling and pavement preservation techniques. I have a keen interest in leadership and helping people reach their full potential and am proud to have been able to help many university graduates and others to achieve master degrees in their chosen fields. I am a Chartered Engineer and a member of both Engineers Ireland the Irish Branch of the Institute of Asphalt Technology.
