About Alessandro Mallamaci

My interest in visual arts, communication and photography, began in 1996. My teaching journey has been driven by an unwavering commitment to student success. Until 2008, I worked as an educator, continually refining my teaching methods and ensuring student's satisfaction and progress. Notably, I initiated and conducted workshops independently, eventually collaborating with esteemed brands like Leica and Fujifilm. More recently, I had the privilege of lecturing at Columbia College in Chicago, USA. As a photographer and art director, I have had the pleasure of creating content for major brands such as Audi and luxury brands such as Rolex. I've a solid background and experience in Social Media Communication. Always striving for excellence, my artistic projects and books I have designed have graced exhibitions, art fairs, and galleries across China, France, Italy, the UK, and the USA, fostering valuable international collaborations. My skill set extends beyond teaching to encompass management, organization, and human resources. I successfully managed a photography school in Southern Italy and led a far-reaching educational project encompassing 18 diverse classes and teachers across Italy. I've orchestrated festivals, workshops, and thought-provoking talks. My experience in curatorship, as well as my roles in leading a communication agency, a photo agency, and a fine art printing lab, have honed my leadership capabilities. I have managed a variety of communications channels for maximum impact, understanding target audiences and developing appropriate content and channels for them. I'm currently a Head of Department in a Public Administration in Italy. I excel as both a collaborative team player and an independent worker, a balance that would enable me to bring exceptional managerial skills and effective leadership.
