About Alex Flinner

I have worked in many fields over the years ranging from retail to technical theater to transportation and have developed a unique skill set that is applicable in many different forms across many fields. From being a Theatrical Entrepreneur to driving groups across the country, I strive to find new experiences and opportunities while providing polite and professional services. I am often asked what I do and often start with a chuckle, I am began to add Civil Engineering Technology to my skills, Fall of 2020, through Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN. I successfully graduated with an AAS in Civil Engineering Technology in May of 2022 with Honors and am now working with Lake Superior Consulting as a Survey CAD Technician. I am in the process of starting up an EV charging company, Charging North LLC, to serve more rural areas and areas with limited power availability. My goal is to have High speed charging, at a reasonable cost, to aid in the electrification of more of our transportation options. I have also been a Video producer/editor since March 2020 and Technical Coordinator starting in 2022 for First United Methodist Church in Duluth MN. During the pandemic, we had been recording earlier in the week, then editing and producing each service that premiers Sunday mornings at 10 am. Presently, we are live streaming our services with up to 5 cameras and a computer slide/video feed and making adjustments to the audio mix live.
