I currently work as an Environmental Water Scientist at GHD and work within the Integrated Water Management Team in Halifax, Canada. I primarily work within the mining sector on operational mine water balances and water quality assessments. I also undertake coastal sensitivity assessments by undertaking hydrodynamic modelling and sediment transport modelling. I have a diverse set of field experience, including but not limited to; soil sampling, groundwater sampling, groundwater monitoring, infiltration testing and slug testing. I have numerous technical skills which I utilise within my investigations including- ArcGIS - ESdat - HEC-HMS - HEC-RAS - GoldSim - Mike Suite - Excel I have previously worked in web design have a quality approach to the assessments I conduct. In addition to this from my time working in web design I am able to deal with code and formula scenarios where required. I hold BSc from The University of Auckland, double majoring in Earth Science and Environmental Science, however, am looking to undertake future studies when the right opportunity arises.
