About Alex Remmel

I am a recent Master's in Arts Graduate in International Affairs from the George Washington University in DC, specializing in International Law and Organizations. During my academic career and in my current role at UNA, I have deeply engaged with my passion for human rights and the role of multilaterals in promoting, protecting and legitimizing them. By supporting the vision of the UN, other essential multilateral organizations and civil society in general, through advocacy, diplomatic outreach, and grassroots efforts, I aim to inform meaningful social changes and policy reform. My professional strengths include effective interpersonal communication, persuasive writing and speaking, strong negotiation skills, a background in diplomatic and IR strategies, leadership and teambuilding, a comprehensive understanding of quantitative software, and a working proficiency in multiple languages.
