About Alexandra Wagner

I am a Production Manager and a Process Development Manager at TechnoPhage, a biotechnology company that develops novel therapeutic solutions based on phage technology. I have a master's degree in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, where I also obtained my bachelor's degree in the same field. In my current roles, I lead cross-functional teams of engineers and technicians to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of production processes, using Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. I also create processes that are efficient, reproducible, and compliant, using my expertise in downstream processing. I have published multiple papers in renowned journals, such as the Journal of Chemical Technology and Biotechnology, demonstrating my research and development skills. I believe in collaborative leadership and team empowerment, as well as building important relationships with vendors and stakeholders. I am also committed to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices. Among other responsibilities, I highlight the following- Preparation of SOPs, CAPAs, and deviation reports (GMP)- Compilation of dossiers for submission to health authorities - Participation in inspections by regulatory agencies - Responsible for tech transfer Additionally, I am a specialist in downstream processing (DSP) of biological products, including antibodies, VLPs, and DNA/RNA.
