I have graduated with master degree in Materials Science and Engineering. Currently, I am an expert in Coating and Surface Processes. My passion is on thermal spray and diffusion coating to protect materials against corrosion, oxidation and wear. Through the years of activity in coating and surface engineering topics, my expertise is categorized into various industries to below achievements- Adept at effectively using HVOP, APS, LPPS and associated processes for the successful development of parts by various multicoat systems- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of DOE and Analysis development for various thermal spray coating - Diffusion coating as Aluminide by CVD and Slurry coating process- Project managed the R&D project of design and qualification in coating and surface- Robotic programming for coating different Gas Turbine parts - Development of DVC coating in ZrO2-%7Y2O3 to achieve columnar cracked microstructure- Oversaw the repair process of coating on E and F classes of Gas Turbines- Developed and qualified for various Tungsten/Chromium carbide coating on parts- Resolved complex production issues and provide solutions to prevent actions- Demonstrated proficiency with heat treatment of Superalloys, shot peening in new and repair parts- Coating laboratory coordinator for metallography, microhardness, tensile, bending- Studied coated parts to evaluate failures and coating conditions after service- NDT inspection as PT, MT, FPI and visual.
