About Alison McCann
Alison completed an MSc through Research at Trinity College Dublin in 2017 exploring the occupational impact of caregiving for a person in a vegetative or minimally conscious state. Alison has a BSC (Hons) degree in Occupational Therapy from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. She is a member of the Association of Occupational Therapists Ireland and is registered by CORU. Ally has her own 'lived experience' of brain illness- epilepsy. This, along with autoimmune conditions and lifestyle medicine have become personal and professional interests. Ally is also interested in moral, ethical and legal aspects of caregiving and health.
