About Allen Coates

Currently, I am a Performance and Development Specialist for character Programs and Development within The Walt Disney Company. In my multiple years with the company, I have brought beloved stories to life at Walt Disney World and Shanghai Disney Resort. While I am an Art Studies graduate from North Carolina State University, my passion for different cultures and history combined with my living abroad has allowed me to expand my knowledge and skill set beyond my wildest dreams. I've learned to apply complex thought and processes within the disciplines of editing, cinematography, video production combined with vast experience within the performance industry including improvisation, critical thinking, active listening, voice acting, and creative writing. Similarly, I have furthered my historical knowledge and experience through traveling and visiting various countries. The future I envision for myself has me creating magic within the lives people everyday while inspiring others to dream as opulently as I have.
