About Allison Gilbert

I’m a medical doctor specialized in Emergency Medicine (ULiege). I obtained a PhD in Medical Sciences (ULiege) with specific research on the management of the Emergency department patient flow (triage systems). I also followed a basic training in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ULB-UMons). I currently conduct my research on artificial intelligence applications in Healthcare. I’m working at the CHU de Liège as a hospital emergency preparedness coordinator and quality/safety and risk management medical expert. My main research interests focus on innovative methods to regulate and optimize the emergency department patients inflow, from classical approaches to innovative and digital solutions. I’m also interested in digital platforms to offer the most appropriate care at the best time for every patient.
