About Allison Johnsen

I partner with high-achieving professionals to support and facilitate professional and personal growth - to advance their skills, careers, relationships, and goals in life. My interests and experience revolve around leadership development coaching and healthcare clinician/physician leadership and well-being. I've earned the Professional Certified Coach (International Coach Federation) and Board-Certified Coach (Center for Credentialing and Education) credentials and maintain a Clinical Professional Counselor license in Illinois. I enjoy reaching/teaching others via public speaking and training. Education and experience in healthcare, business and clinical psychology uniquely equip me to coach and consult with organizations - whether for individual leader or team development. I work with clients from many different fields of practice – nursing, medicine, veterinary science, finance, manufacturing - coaching them to accomplish specific goals. Facilitating others' learning, self-awareness, growth, and change is my life's purpose. Six Sigma certified, I have led many projects, know how to get things done, and helps others do the same. I draws on all my experiences and training in my leadership coaching and consulting work with high performers, executives, healthcare professionals and founders. When I am not working, I like to be outside: sailing, hiking, skiing, bicycling, and gardening. I advocate for self-care and well-being and "practice what I preach": fitness, nutrition, recreation, relaxation and the pursuit of a healthy amount of sleep.
