About Allison Sims
Originally from California, I moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas to attend the University of Arkansas. Through the move across country to an unknown place, I learned to be extremely adaptable. At the University I have succeeded in academics as well as social involvement. I have played on the Women's Rugby Team since freshman year. I developed a passion for the game, therefore, during my sophomore year I took a leadership role as Fundraising, Sponsorship, and Community Service Chair, the following year I was President, and I currently serve as the Vice President and Match Secretary. Though serving on the executive board for two years so far, I have developed a strong sense of confidence and integrity. I have also learned how to successfully make decisions as well as work with a budget. I also have worked multiple jobs as a full-time student, the most impactful being athletic tutoring. As a tutor I learned how to cooperate with athletes as well as teach them new skills and help them improve their academics.
