About Allison Steele

Hello! My name is Allison Steele and I am a hardworking student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Isenberg School of Management. Through combining my interests I am pursuing a dual degree in Sports Management and Marketing. This allows me to focus on my goal of working alongside reputable brands looking to cement their status in the sports and entertainment industry.When I'm not in class and focusing on my studies, I am an active and insightful captain of the Women's Ultimate Frisbee Team on the UMass campus. I was elected by my peers to lead the team in the 2017-2018 season. My captains and I lead a team of 32 dedicated females looking to stay active, while also establishing a family on campus full of compassion and support for each other. In addition to on-field leadership, I manage our budget to ensure all team travel and other expenses are covered appropriately. My passion for the sport and my team members, along with my scheduling and financial organization skills allow me to be an asset to the team in more ways than one.My four year internship with the Amherst LSSE has allowed my to develop into positions of growing responsibility. I have become an invaluable coordinator for the National Ultimate Training Camp, an international ultimate frisbee camp run through the department. I have taken on a multifaceted role in the camp and ensure all functions of the program are run smoothly, from registration, to inspections, to financial budgeting. I strive to be an active member of my community. My goal is to be involved and informed about what is going on around me. For that reason and many others, I firmly believe that I am a difference maker in the Isenberg community.
