Background
About Alyssa Keulen
My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where people can feel comfortable when asking for support. For nearly 10 years I supported individuals with varying abilities and needs. This lead me to complete a bachelor of Education, with a focus in Inclusive Education. My time teaching showed me that I prefer to work more intimately with people. My passion for helping individuals flourish became a gateway to move into social work, and, in spring 2023, I went back to the University of Regina to continue my education. In March of 2023, I was hired as a case manager at Regina Work Prep Centre. Here I support individuals who have been involved within the criminal justice system to feel empowered in their job search. I guide the people I serve with all things pre-employment. I believe every person has the right to be treated with respect and dignity, and as such, I work hard to foster strong relationships with the individuals I support.
