About Alysse Deterville

As a Software Engineering student at The Pennsylvania State University, I am driven by a passion for creating impactful solutions through technology. With hands-on experience in software architecture, full-stack development, embedded systems, and robotics, I bridge the gap between hardware and software to deliver innovative results. From designing a prototype underwater robot with autonomous navigation capabilities to building the first official website for the Penn State Caribbean Student Association, my projects showcase my ability to take ideas from concept to completion. My technical toolkit includes C/C++, Python, JavaScript, SolidWorks, and Arduino microprocessor systems, empowering me to contribute to both front-end user experiences and back-end functionality. As a leader and collaborator, I thrive in roles where creativity meets precision, whether delegating team tasks or crafting seamless user interfaces. Currently, I am seeking opportunities to further develop my skills in full-stack development and embedded systems, with a focus on designing impactful solutions for real-world challenges.
