About Amaan Malik

There are no problems, only solutions."- John Lennon It took me a few years of trial and error to fully realize that my passion lay in identifying and solving problems faced by customers. This realization came after working for 5+ years in client-facing roles at some of the largest companies in the world (Walmart, QuadReal) but also in more intimate environments such as at my campus restaurant. In these roles, I used various technical systems to identify and solve customer and client needs. These systems include Walmart's new OMNIchannel software, the Elections Ontario voter tracking software CIMS2GO and various POS and ERP systems. Studying Economics and Finance at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson) has equipped me with the ability to analyze complex data sets using tools like SPSS, Excel, and Power BI. Furthermore, engaging with a diverse array of professors and peers at TMU has aided me in developing perspective, empathy and love for forming meaningful connections. Combining my technical skills with an ability to empathize and connect with clients, I aim to fulfill my passion for identifying, understanding and solving a customer's needs.
