About Amanda Carpenter

Having spent all of my career bringing people together to create change, first in the civil society sector and for the last decade across the legal sector, my focus is on building and growing meaningful collaborative ventures.An impactful response to climate change demands collaboration, which Achill Legal is in a unique position to deliver. Our focus is on providing full secretariat support to The Legal Charter 1.5, The Legal Sustainability Alliance, The Greener Litigation Pledge, The Bar Council Sustainability Network and the One Million Hours project. Achill Legal has the experience, network and passion to engage hearts and minds and create the momentum that real change requires. We bring leaders from academia, business and professional services together to collaborate and find solutions to the complex problems that climate change presents and to supercharge sustainability across the legal profession. Outside of work I am the founder and host of Planet Pod and founder and co-host of The Sustainable Law Podcast. I am Co Director of Worple Press, an independent arts and poetry publishing house and trustee on Environmental Law Foundation.
