About Amanda Chao

As a Project Lead at the Human Early Learning Partnership (HELP), I coordinate and support the implementation of the Early and Middle Childhood Development Program of Research, a provincial and national initiative that aims to improve the health and well-being of children and families. With over eight years of experience in research and a MSc in Population Health from UCL, I have the skills and knowledge to manage complex and multi-stakeholder projects, collect and analyze data, and mobilize knowledge for policy and practice. My passion for population health stems from my scientific background in pathophysiology and neuroscience, which gave me a solid foundation in understanding the biological and social determinants of health. I also have strong interpersonal communication and creative skills, which I apply to engage with diverse audiences and stakeholders, organize and administer training and engagement webinars, and assist with the preparation and dissemination of data reports and community summaries. My goal is to use my expertise to promote healthier communities.
