Dalai Lama My career journey has not been straightforward, but it has been a journey of growth and defying the status quo. I started my career journey pursing Accounting and more specifically Forensic Accounting. I have always found the Forensic space intriguing, particularly having studied a double degree in Accounting and Psychology, my pursuit was in the Forensic space of both professions. Over the years my career has spanned across the Education, Finance and Health Care sectors. Although not the career path I envisioned I am now a Social Worker in the Justice System Sector. The transition into my current role as an Assessment & Reintegration Specialist has been a culmination of my experience in different industries and sectors. It has helped me to channel all the knowledge I have accumulated over the years to better support my clients. As just one individual in a big industry I am passionate about helping people overcome the challenges and barriers they face in the criminal justice system. I believe that every person deserves respect, dignity, and compassion, regardless of their background or circumstances. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where my clients can express themselves, learn new coping skills, and achieve their goals. As Bob Dylan says, “We have never arrived.
