About Amanda Jamison

As a recent college graduate, I am limited by my lack of experience in the professional world. To make up for that limitation, my goal is to find a stable, full-time job that not only allows me to gain the experience, skills, and knowledge I need to succeed but also will allow me to positively contribute to the success and prosperity of the company or organization I am employed by. I have excellent interpersonal and people skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, can type 31-34 WPM, comfortable working in groups as well as independently, excellent research skills, comfortable and familiar with genealogy research mediums such as FamilySearch.org, Myheratige.com and Ancestry.com, ability to pick up on new concepts and procedures in the work place quickly and effectively, good organizational skills, good money management and POS skills. One of the achievements I'm most proud of is a graduation project I did in high school. I planned, organized and ran a golf outing fundraiser. The project required developed event planning skills, organizational skills, marketing skills, money management skills, and the ability to be flexible in planning as circumstances changed. In the end, the project raised over $3,200.00 which was donated to the Seneca Valley Foundation and was specifically allocated to the Special Education Department for the benefit of the special needs and life skills students in the district.
