About Amanda Mongillo
As an educator, I understand the challenges that parents and students face on a daily basis. I want to create an environment with excited students and parents feeling welcome. We implemented student-led conferences with students running their own parent/teacher conferences. This allowed the students to be proud of their accomplishments and allowed an open dialogue between students and parents about academics. This led me to get more involved than just analyzing data and using it to drive instruction but to implement a Girls 4 STEM club that focused on girls conducting experiments, presenting at state-level conferences, and giving the girls insight into what a future in STEM could look like. My skills and passion as an educator are undeniable and could benefit a company that is customer driven. I plan to network with others and gain some friends along the way!
