About Amanda Sutherland

As a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University, having double majoring in Film, TV, & Media Studies and Screenwriting, I am all about studying and creating stories in film. To me, there is nothing better than finding a story or character that wedges its way into your heart and stays there for life. I want make this happy feeling a reality for others by what I create with others. With my knowledge of storytelling gained inside and outside of the classroom, I am able to write pitches, character bios, treatments, and screenplays with detail and care. I use my experiences inside the classroom with my peers and outside of it as an intern for production and marketing companies to provide other writers with detailed and meaningful notes for their various writing projects. Additionally, my experiences as a student worker at LMU's Marketing & Communications Department has allowed me to hone my social media management skills and allowed me to become proficient in most pre-production, production, and post-production processes.
