Assists Registration department with all functions including acquisitions, incoming and outgoing loans, exhibition preparation and installation, as well as artwork storage and handling. These functions include: acquisitions paperwork, artwork packing and installation instructions, organizing local artwork shipments, assisting with national and international shipments including customs paperwork such as CITES, preparing loan agreements, communicating with other institutions and lenders regarding loans and acquisitions, arranging and receiving certificates of insurance, communicating with exhibition designers and curators, overseeing receiving and unpacking incoming crated loans, working with other institutional couriers during exhibition installation. Also regular work in STAR collections database including data entry for new acquisitions and location updates.
